If you want to develop drawing skills and broaden your knowledge of graphic media this is an ideal class for beginners and intermediate level artists. We explore not only the values of line, tone and texture in traditional pencil work, but also work in pastel, pen, mixed media and mono printing. We have interesting discussions on art making processes and the development of different ideas and methods of application. As well as working from set themes such as still life and portraiture, artists are encouraged to develop independence of thought and work with ideas/ images of their choice, supported by ongoing help/ guidance.
