June Painting Class

“ Monday is a very busy class with artists working on a broad range of imagery in either acrylic, water colour or pastels.
Although it is challenging to teach across disciplines, it certainly peaks the interest of all concerned. Water colourists take an interest in acrylics, those using acrylics get a different perspective when looking at pastel work as do pastel artists when they
see water colours being created, and so it goes! I think it introduces artists to different ways of creating, and in some cases encourages them to try new mediums and techniques. As a mixed media artist I appreciate and engage with all disciplines,  and as much as I teach others, I always learn something from my students. If you are a student of art or an artist you become a life long learner.
