Life drawing April
“ I agree with Hettie. There is so much to learn about the human form and there is no better way than to learn from the source- the figure itself.
I marvel at the diversity of the human form.
When you draw/ paint a still life- it is exactly that- still! In order to get a different result you need to physically change the items used, or change your media or technique. The human figure transforms itself, it articulates, it move in different directions, poses, changes attitudes.
How convenient is that! The life drawing sessions at JAG are well attended, relaxed and informal. We play background music, drink coffee when necessary and invest time and energy in pursuit of gaining knowledge and understanding of the human form. It is a great way to spend an evening.
